Don't even test me on this, I am about to throw some hardcore facts at you.
Ron had an emo phase. His parents encouraged it because it was a muggle thing. He listened to my chemical romance and panic! At the disco. He wore eyeliner and dyed streaks of his hair black (he was going for a full head but we all know he wasn't perfect at magic. It's what we love about him). He taught himself electric guitar and was actually pretty damn good.
Ten years later the war is over. Ronald Bilius Weasley cannot handle being around his broken family every day. He buys a small apartment in Manhattan. He starts listening to muggle music, and watching muggle TV to get intergrated. He gets completely hooked on the Bachelorette and Keeping up with the Kardashians. He can't stop watching it. He also starts watching survival shows, cooking shows (GORDON RAMSAY) and Ru Paul's drag race. He is a barista during the day and works a couple of odd jobs on his hours off and during the weekend. His friend who works at The Daily Grind with him pierced his eyebrow, lip and ear. He gets a couple tattoos.
Then one day, the coffee shops usual background guitarist cancels. She was a nice girl, pretty hippieish, and played stuff he'd never really heard of. The manager is flipping out and he quietly offers to give it a go. So weasley takes the stage, strumming a few chords to get back in the groove and then proceeds to play the only songs he can remember how.

The entire cafe, filled with old people and trendy college kids fall silent. The music is haunting in a way that wizards could not appreciate because they were so used to it.
Ron plays for half an hour and then goes back to manning the counter. A young woman comes up to him. She introduces herself as Hermione Granger and offers him a contract with her company. He is the first person who has ever turned her down. Hermione is intrigued to say the least.
In that single year, Hermione drinks more coffee than she ever has in her life. She can't figure out wether it's the way Ron makes coffee or the way he sings that makes him so intriguing.
One day, she writes ever number on the receipt.
They get married in The Grind two years later. Ron plays a couple songs at the ceremony.
Their first daughter is named Celeste.
