Woke up early to exercise and I am embarrassingly out of shape, but I wrote up a work out schedule so I’ll try to stick to it and improve! Afterwards, I finished some philosophy readings and writings for my writing class and now I’m going to meet up with a friend for brunch…and it’s not even noon!

my new bujo + august spreads (✿◠‿◠)
I’m back from vacation! School starts next week and I am not ready at all, but I’m excited to use all my new school supplies, including my new bujo! I’m going to be a junior this year aaaah (also idk why the words are blurry, click on the pictures and they're clear)
*the art printout on my weekly spread is by Maxwell Tilse [tumblr post] and the one on my monthly spread is by Kelsey at amidstsilence.tumblr.com [check her blog out!]

7-24-17: Let’s all just agree that I have no idea how to take a desk photo (the reason I couldn’t show more of my desk is because it’s a mess).
Also, a word of advice that I’d like to give to all the studyblrs out there is to never put your Starbucks on top of your laptop (like I did). Mine came way too close to being knocked over and spilling all over my keyboard.
➸ 05.12.2017 | It’s almost mid-May, yet this is all I have to show for it (oops). The past couple of weeks have been super stressful, but I think I’m finally able to keep up with my bujo again, and actually make more use of my summer time. It’s hard, but I’m trying to stay positive! Do any of you have fun plans for Mother’s Day?🌹💐🌷
Seeing @moonshinestudies‘ use of watercolor made me want to test out watercolors as well 👀 I’m definitely not used to this paper though haha
my very first printable. I made it with paint.net. Probably not the best idea for a printable but I couldn’t think of another way to make it! I’ll try to make a better one tomorrow or something but as for now; this is the best i can do. ; u ; sorry my dudes.
170525 16:04. is this post cheating lmao, since i did everything in this picture yesterday? i have a 5-day holiday until exams start and i just spent yesterday journaling my life plan for the next 7(???) years and jotting down notes from an article in nautilus’ new issue, is matter conscious? the fact that the biology concepts immediately made sense to me while my head hurt thinking about the physics probably says a lot about me. thinking of consciousness as a hardware is so weird, but it makes sense -- we all never really interact raw-ly with the world. it’s all your brain, your consciousness, processing the world. i was giddy all through reading it lmao, i’m so excited for the future of cognitive science and all its sub-branches!! i hope i’ll be part of it!
now... for the life plan, it’s mostly to reassure and re-focus myself since... everything has been spiraling down lately. i haven’t talked much about it here, but i might not go to IBDP as i planned because of financial and familial issues, and that fact scared me so much that i actively didn’t want to talk to people for a few days. but i’m glad i did reach out in the end, because they reminded me that there is more than one way to achieve my dreams. and if going to IBDP and overseas for university is not the path laid out for me by the universe, i won’t regret that i didn’t at least try to make it happen.
(and hey, if you like that article, here’s another about reading online vs in print!! the illustration for it is so pretty)
