I like your idea, but I dont think the sims even use pronouns , since they speak simlish, i think it is actually gender nutural allready when it comes to that , but i 100% agree that they need a way to make both an option

Oh totally, that’s always been one of the many wonderful things about simlish! :) I just want the pronouns option for the messages that pop up on the side, so then it can say “they will use their new skill in...” instead of “she will use her new skill in...” etc. in any of the messages that pop up for the player. Hopefully maybe some more gender fluid options will be coming in a future patch sometime!

I think it depends on the kid, some kids will rebel more if spanked, some kids like myself would cry like heck when yelled at , but would just hate my parents when they spanked me. How you discipline a child is based on that child. Some kids don't see spanking the way parents do, some kids see it as hitting them when they are told not to hit, thus telling them in their minds, hitting is okay. It all depends on what works best with the individual child.

You know what? I agree. Every kid is different. And if your child doesn’t respond well to spanks, definitely find an alternative.

Luckily enough Delilah can’t hear much ofher parents’ spat. Like most every day she sits in her room at her desk doodling to her hearts content whatever she has her mind set on that day. Usually she would draw how happiness looks in her eyes. What things make her smile and how she wishes things were.

Delilah has had a collection of drawings since she was very young, well, since she learned to hold a pencil really. But, recently it’s stopped easing her mind like it used to because after all, it’s just her imagination.

“Dale, is it too much to ask that you clean up after your god damn self when you’re home?”

“Excuse me Rachel but I work hard all day and should be able to come to a home where I can relax!”

“Just because I work part time does NOT mean I need to clean the whole house as well. We both live here it is both of our responsibility Dale. I spend most of the time looking after Delilah and you know how much hard work she can be”

“I work a physical job 10 hours a day and you sit on your ass in the office for 5 hours 3 times a week and tell me it’s hard work! We knew how difficult Deliliah would be before she was born.”

“I can’t believe how you’re speaking to me right now Dale. I do everything for you and our daughter. She is right upstairs and hearing us argue is not going to make anything easier in this household!”

“Rachel, I know you’re right. I’m just so stressed out from work. The boss is cutting my hourly rate down and I don’t know how we’re going to afford the rent this month after the holiday we just had. I’m just worried darling.”

“Yes, well please talk with me about this like normal married couples.”
