Just spent a solid hour creating a new family to add to my story and my game crashed and now I have no motivation. Fuck it all

UPDATE:

I got accepted for the house I applied for. I will be moved in within two weeks. Even though I have to take out a loan just to cover the upfront costs and the fact my ex left me with no furniture but it’s a step forward!

Luckily enough Delilah can’t hear much ofher parents’ spat. Like most every day she sits in her room at her desk doodling to her hearts content whatever she has her mind set on that day. Usually she would draw how happiness looks in her eyes. What things make her smile and how she wishes things were.

Delilah has had a collection of drawings since she was very young, well, since she learned to hold a pencil really. But, recently it’s stopped easing her mind like it used to because after all, it’s just her imagination.

“Dale, is it too much to ask that you clean up after your god damn self when you’re home?”

“Excuse me Rachel but I work hard all day and should be able to come to a home where I can relax!”

“Just because I work part time does NOT mean I need to clean the whole house as well. We both live here it is both of our responsibility Dale. I spend most of the time looking after Delilah and you know how much hard work she can be”

“I work a physical job 10 hours a day and you sit on your ass in the office for 5 hours 3 times a week and tell me it’s hard work! We knew how difficult Deliliah would be before she was born.”

“I can’t believe how you’re speaking to me right now Dale. I do everything for you and our daughter. She is right upstairs and hearing us argue is not going to make anything easier in this household!”

“Rachel, I know you’re right. I’m just so stressed out from work. The boss is cutting my hourly rate down and I don’t know how we’re going to afford the rent this month after the holiday we just had. I’m just worried darling.”

“Yes, well please talk with me about this like normal married couples.”

A warm welcome back

A new happy life. A new outlook on myself. A new job. A new home.

All these things have affected me over the last month or so and I haven’t been around at all motivation-wise to come back.

I used to play my old household with my ex boyfriend and I can no longer open the save file without hating myself.

New beginnings calls for new sims. I know I have done this a few times now but things were so rough for me and I hit rock bottom.

Now I have surfaced I am back and better than ever!

Here is a home I have built which is my main household and it is beautiful.

I’m sorry for being so distant. Me and my boyfriend broke up this week. We were together three years and have a baby together and i’m just trying to sort myself out.

I don’t have the motivation right now to play but i’ll try my best to have content everyday
