You like cellos? You like 70s and 80s (glam) rock? You don't think those two could ever come together? Well, you stand corrected! Come join the Cellos from Mars at RNCM StudentFest for a 45-minute-long romp through the classics of the classics! You will hear songs such as 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Mr Blue Sky' and of course songs by the Starman himself, performed by a cello ensemble unlike any you have heard before. You'll find us on the Concourse, and admission is free!
Ok. Guys.
I know it doesn’t sound like much, but this concert is something I have been dreaming of for YEARS, and now, at the end of my time as a student, it’s actually becoming reality. It means. So much. To me.
If you live in, near, or around Manchester, I would love it if you could come to this. Admission is free, and there are tons of other events happening during those few days at StudentFest - a festival organised entirely by RNCM students! - so you’ll be bound to have a great time. Plus, we worked really really hard on this (I injured my wrist doing my best to get those arrangements done on time!), and it’s sounding so great. I can’t wait for the world to hear these arrangements and for me to be able to share my love for this music and the sound of a cello ensemble with as many people as possible. <3333

‘The beauty of the Archangel Raffaele, the bringer of healing, comfort and compassion has been brought to me. This music is full of energy that heals, sings, dances on the edge of winged spirits, and brings such indescribable beauty in colours that shimmer and are full of love.’
