hoo boy this sent me into an existential crisis. i guess my feelings can be summed up as: i don’t have to perform for anyone, i don’t have to do things for other people. it is enough to simply be, exist and love and all that shit. idk i just feel like for a long time i cared so much what other people think that it was all i thought about when doing something. now i’m trying to just do things for myself.

Hi!!! I know I haven’t really talked to you, but if there’s anything I love to do it’s sharing music 😅

So I absolutely love the 2020 (and only) album of the artist Vaundy, but especially 不可幸力 and 灯火! Other than that the songs; CHILDAYS by BLOOM VASE, snow jam by Rin音, Haru wo Tsugeru by yama, and Never Grow Up by CHANMINA are also great!

And I know you asked for no anime songs, and this is technically a song used as the outro of a recent anime, but it’s not really an “anime” song and it’s really fun!! LOST IN PARADISE by ALI and AKLO 😊 Another song that’s technically anime related is Nandemonaiya by RADWIMPS, which is from the movie Your Name, but I’m including it bc I found this song really fun because the lyrics are very understandable for the most part!!

I hope your sister likes them!!! And I wish her good luck with the language learning! I’m studying Japanese in uni myself so 😁

Aaah yes exactly! They’re literally like, emotional support kpop boys, just kind, warm, genuine, and so so so funny too 😂 And you’re absolutely right 3Racha is a gift! And I think basically everyone has a soft spot for Felix in some way, because, like, how could you not?

And very valid! I have to admit that the last two albums have just completely made me fall in love with them, Back Door is just SUCH a bop! But yeah every era has it’s own unique qualities, they’ve spoiled their fans so much 😭🧡

And your list of songs is just *chef’s kiss* tbh, but I’m probably not a good judge bc I literally like nearly every single song they’ve ever made 😅 Though unpopular opinion, somehow never vibed with Double Knot, and not with Mixtape 4 either, but that last one is because I’m just too attached to Hoodie Season as a 3Racha song heh

hiii hi hello! yes exactly, my emotional support kpop boys and ot8! like they’re my desktop background on my personal laptop and no matter how sad i feel, seeing the eight of them makes me smile again :^) and honestly EVERYONE has a soft spot for felix, but we have to remember that no matter how much we love felix, chan loves him more lmaoooo!!

yes the last two albums have genuinely been SO good, they’ve truly outdone themselves and they continue spoiling their fans, they genuinely have so much stuff coming out 24/7 that it’s hard for me to keep up - i frequently say that skz is the only group i’ve pretty much deep dove into because i just couldn’t keep up with other groups alongside them. also that’s fair! i actually wasn’t a huge fan of double knot at the beginning, but after listening to it a couple of times, i’ve come to really like it! n/s is the MOST underrated song that they have i feel, truly so catchy and just so fun! and yeah mixtape#4 is broken compass, i gotta say that mixtape#3 is my favourite one of the mixtapes because... yes. that song has gotten me through a LOT.

Oh, /please/ talk about Stray Kids, I also love them so much! I’m also just like, strangely fond of them? They seem like such a genuine group of people 😭 I myself have to say I do have a particular extra fondness for both Changbin and Chan 😅 What’s your favourite era/songs from them? :o

hiii hello! exactly! i can’t quite put my finger on the reason why i’m fond of them but i just... am. they’re such a fun group of people to watch and seem so kind and genuine and willing to learn! i have such love for all of them that i can’t even pick -- i guess if i had to then i have a special bias for felix and 3racha. i can identify a lot with felix’s journey and come on, who doesn’t love 3racha? :’) 

my favourite era... hm. not to be cheesy but can i say all eras? i feel like skz always put out such unique music each time and also for a group that debuted like two years ago, they have SO much music. if i had to pick, then i think i liked the i am you, miroh, and now in life eras (of course ot8) best. 

as for songs, i’m just going to do a quick runthrough where i will probably forget half of everything. when i say this i of course mean the ot8 versions! so we have: miroh, district 9, hellevator, 3rd eye, my pace, awkward silence, n/s, victory song, boxer, chronosaurus, 19, side effects, mixtape#3, double knot, levanter, sunshine, back door, b me, god’s menu, phobia, haven, all in, we go (3racha) and wow (danceracha). i really tried to pick my absolute favourites from each eras here but it was HARD.

anyway skz have a fond place in my heart and the ot8 means everything to me! honestly they release so much though, i can never keep up lmaooo :^)
