yes. okay. lupaster is a vampire but ellie isn’t (yet). so part one* is Ellie Is Alive and part two* is Ellie Is A Vampire And Thirteen Forever. she’s keeping the elements of the original* story with her unidentified illness and No Remaining Blood Family. ellie dying isn’t a spoiler because it’s a Plot Point. i don’t know exactly what kind of nonsense lupaster has to go through in order to revive her after her death but as soon as she slightly recovers he absolutely turns her into a vampire. he will respect her wishes until he doesn’t want to anymore. losing her is the worst case scenario, anything after that isn’t on the same level for him.
