In September of 1939, Amazing-Man first appeared in Amazing-Man Comics #5. He is believed to be the second super hero to have his own self titled comic (Superman being the first). The orphan John Aman was raised by a group of monks known as the Council of Seven. Not only had they trained him to the peak of physical and mental ability, they also somehow taught him other skills like being able to turn into a green mist and telekinesis.
