Griffon-based harpies and hippogriff centaurs.

Also consider hippalectryon centaurs,which are basically greek mythological creature that’s a reverse hippogriffs that still have wings and are roosters.

Centaurs are usually portrayed as part-horse part-human, but picture this:

Part-horse, part ELF! or part-horse part-dwarf! Half-Horse, Half-Gnome, why not? How come humans are the only ones allowed to be attached to a horse, let the other fantasy races in on the action. Halflings could be CENTAUR PONIES!

Also why just horses? What about a man’s torso fused to the body of a lion? Or a DINOSAUR! A Centosaur, if you will.

I feel like there’s a lot of untapped potential in Centaurs and Centaur variants.
