Idk how but im very tired and accidentally read this as "someone sell me weed brownies"
@centaursoda 8/10 times I ride in just his loosering snaffle But the past couple of times I've ridden he's tanked off on me and just completely ignored the bit in his mouth. So on the odd occasion I ride in the gag. But only if I'm jumping or riding in the field as that's when he tends to ignore me. The one i currently use is a tad small, and it's a single joint, and he really hates the nutcracker action. So I'm hoping by using this new one with the lozenge, he'll be a bit happier in it when we're jumping :) He's incredibly strong when he wants to ignore me 😕

Posts like the ones arguing about whether or not horses should be allowed outside make me so happy that Sweden has laws that state that all horses should be turned out every day in a paddock or pen that allows it to move in all of its natural gaits (with the exception of injuries of course). Like... why get an animal only to confine it?
That's interesting! Sweden is on a lot of fronts a very forward-thinking country. I also wonder what was the real impact of making a law of it? Did it really help to improve the general condition of horses in Sweden? How do you prove that someone isn't respecting this law?
But I imagine it must have at least sparked a debate on the horse care subject, which is always good!
