I’m bored so um - here’s what we know about the centenary so far:
The potential synopsis: Her final battle, her deadliest enemies, the thirteenth doctor faces multiple threats from the daleks, the cybermen and the master, in a fight for her very existence.
The cast: Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, John Bishop, Bradley Walsh, Sophie Aldred, Jacob Anderson, Nadia Albina, Nicholas Briggs, Sacha Dahwan, Janet Fielding, Jo Martin, Patrick O’Kane, Jemma Redgrave, plus more
Written by: Chris Chibnall
Directed by: Jamie Magnus Stone
Composed by: Segun Akinola (who has supposedly said in an interview that he actually composed a new piece for Jodie’s regeneration which is nice bc past doctors didn’t get a whole new score for their regenerations, rather a medley of their themes)
Air date: Mid-October (October 16-October 23), as it’s part of the BBC 100 themed week celebration. Definitely going to say either of the Sundays, because Strictly Coming Dancing is also part of this BBC 100 themed week and that’s air on Saturdays apparently. So my best bet is October 16 or October 23.
Run time: 90 minutes (as confirmed by RTD).
Miscellaneous: Other doctor’s costumes will be making an appearance, the budget/SFX in this episode is meant to be film equivalent (really fkn good apparently), thasmin conclusion, potential timeless child conclusion/FOB watch conclusion, Jodie regenerating outside of the TARDIS, the last day’s shots were filmed in sequence order (Mandip and Jodie filmed in the TARDIS together on their last day) so Yaz doesn’t die confirmed.
Title: TBC
What have I missed? Lmk - fill me in with what you know
Honestly, HURRY UP, it's getting ridiculous now!!!
I REPEAT!!!
Seen this on Twitter today, and this is amazing. Makes me even more excited for the centenary!!!
Just seen this, now don't know if this is right or not, but I'm still shitting my pants in excitement anyway.
This is getting very weird now, they posted the 1st one 25th of August if I'm not mistaken, and then they followed the sequence of releasing them every three days until arachnids in the UK which came out a day early AND then they posted this not even 24 hours after that post.
Plus why are there two red hearts and not two blue ones???? 💙 💙
Hi everyone, I know we haven't had any news about the centenary special yet, so I though I'd cheer u all up by reminding yous that the first preview of the centenary with Sacha Dhawan comes out in 12 days, less than 2 weeks!
And if u can't get it, I'll post pictures of it anyway when I get it, or I'll post links to the articles that are posted online about it.
