This year I have a goal to make a short animation of some dinosaurs, today in between doing others things I’ve been working on Cera’s character. Triceratops are hard to draw! I tried drawing from reference but found it hard to redraw Cera from different angles so I made a quick 3D model of her head and took screenshots of her head from different angles. I then drew over the top in procreate. I kinda really like the results. Can you tell?

I want to draw my styled redesigns of these babies more and maybe do some screencap redraws in the future! My favorite Land Before Time movie ever is Journey to Big Water. The Kronosaurus and Mo itch my brain in such a way. The artistry that went into these movies is always so stunning to me, especially the underwater scenes. I own the box set, they are such comfort films for me. If I really need to bawl my eyes out I'll watch the first one, but I gotta be in the right headspace for it or I'm emo af the whole day LOLLL.
