These mouthwatering cereal bars are a delightful treat that combines the crunchy goodness of Butterfinger cereal with oozy marshmallows and a chocolate drizzle.
Ingredients: 4 cups of Butterfinger cereal. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter. 1 package 10 ounces of marshmallows. 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Instructions: Heat a large saucepan over low heat to melt the unsalted butter. When the butter has melted completely and the mixture is smooth, add the marshmallows and stir. After taking the saucepan off of the burner, add the vanilla extract and stir. Immediately fold in the Butterfinger cereal until the marshmallow mixture coats it evenly. Using a spatula to smooth the top, press the mixture into a 9 by 13-inch baking dish that has been greased. Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in 30-second bursts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in between to ensure smoothness. Pour the melted chocolate onto the cereal bars that are placed in the baking dish. Before cutting the bars into squares, let them cool and the chocolate set.
