My intracranial hypertension is flaring. My blood pressure (like systolic, diastolic, pulse) have been through the roof. Pulse not so much. BP yes. Even WITH the damn meds.
I know my neurologist is gonna rail me about weight management. I’ll either hear from him or my PCP herself. I take 4,000 mg of Diamox daily. I’m not a good candidate for shunt placement because the ventricles in my brain are too small. The LP shunt would leave me bedridden with excruciating headaches because I’m so sensitive to LP headaches. I have cerebellum sag, which causes me to be more sensitive than your average bro. Last year’s brain scan showed that there was no narrowing of my veins so a jugular stent wasn’t an appropriate option either. Lost.
