SOCIAL DISTANCING DAY 39. Watchin’ some TV. 1. Turns out there’s a whole channel of Rifftrax where we can see an endless stream of bad movies with three of the @mst3k guys making fun of them, including (in this case) short educational films—this one we watched them do “live” a few years ago, where they broadcast to a local theater. Ever since we’ve used this paper bag’s voice to call @will.hopper “Will-ee? Oh Will-eee!” 2. After watching the Tiger King followup special tonight we were restlessly cruising @Netflix and discovered a film Marj and I saw in a theater in 2004 and thought was great and haven’t heard much of since but it’s still great! “Kung Fu Hustle.” It’s like a live action cartoon. Recommended. 3. Yeah, they didn’t get Carole Baskin for the follow-up special so here she is from the original Tiger King binge we did awhile back. 4. Just finished Fred Armisen’s “Standup for Drummers” and enjoyed it. 5. A lot of nights go dinner-ChrisHayes-RachelMaddow-wash dishes-LawrenceODonnell-bed. 6. Every day Marj has been appreciating Gov. Cuomo.
