This fella's name is Flyswat, and he's the one who sent Drill to G9.
A short and sleazy footsoldier who worked under General Skyquake and his Predators, Flyswat was an average fighter, but quickly found disinterest in the war and wanted to get into the business of war profiteering. But aware of his position as a mere soldier, and his upcoming mission to Elba to capture the prison from Fortress Maximus, he began to look for a neutral who would trade places with him. He found that neutral in Drillburst, a mercenary looking for pay, and to make sure he said yes, Flyswat threw a great sum of shanix at him. Donning a fake Decepticon insignia over his chassis, Drillburst agreed to Flyswat's deal and joined Skyquake in the Elba incursion.
Now, did Flyswat know what would happen that fateful day? Of course not... to both him and Drill, it would've just been any other skirmish. In and out, just like that. Little did Flyswat know that he'd just dodged not a bullet, but a 50-megaton bomb.
