okay so hear me out -- slimeknight and physical affection/tender gestures of touch (because I'm a sucker for that and I also like adding onto scenes from a minecraft arg to deal with being dragged into the fandom and the wave of emotions about these two that slammed into me like a truck)
- that one headcanon someone had of d3rlord3 catching avery in his arms princess-style after breaking the block beneath him in the library
- d3rlord3 holding/cupping avery's face in his hands during their first conversation, just to remind himself that this avery is the real one, the one he saw in his visions and strived to protect
- avery collapsing when the king in yellow drags them both into the void, and d3rlord3 running to catch him, holding his unresponsive body in his arms as he desperately calls avery's name, pleading with him to wake up or respond
- avery meeting d3rlord3 again on that platform and running up to him, trying to grab onto his armor (his shoulder pauldrons and his chest plate) while demanding to know what's going on, and desperately pleading with him that he can save him too
- d3rlord3 doing the forehead touch with avery as an act of reassurance (bonus points if he also cups avery's face in his hands one last time - extra points if he wipes away avery's tears while doing so)
- avery desperately reaching out to d3rlord3 in the seconds before he fell, trying to grab at his arms (and the last time they held each other being his fingers sliding through d3rlord3's before they were separated forever)
