By this time, Keith feels as if he’s lost a bit of his sanity with the search. At
first, Keith had an abundance of hope for finding Lance, they just had to keep
trying. This hope eventually turned into desperation, Keith absolutely losing it
as far as emotions went after months and months had passed without a trace
of his boyfriend, his lover. It just felt like he’d lost a piece of his life and he
was just...expected to move on. Keith, of course, never did, but he got good
at faking it, even when they had a replacement blue paladin. Keith never did
agree to that, never did get alone with the guy that much.
It’s been about two or three years since he’s last seen Lance when it
happens, when his eyes are bulging out of his head at just seeing that image
of an older looking Lance. He’s stronger in bone structure, he’s taller, he’s...
beautiful. Keith knows he’s changed, longer hair that he keeps tied up, a little
bit taller, stronger bone structure too, but he could never imagine this. Lance
was beautiful, and it was like seeing an angel, but Keith didn’t believe it. His
mind had to be imagining something.
“My mind’s gotta be playing tricks on me...Lance you’re--- you’re fake, right?”
Deeper voice, too.
