He was never much of a coffee person but you did what you had to do to keep from being a WALKING CORPSE for the rest of the day or… whatever the equivalent was when you weren’t orbiting a star.

❝ If you’re so eager to get me back to functioning life it makes me suspicious. “I’m hurt--” his feigning includes a hand to his chest and a half scowling look that is more smile than anything else, “I can be funny” he interjects before trailing off into a small bout of laughter.

He gives a suffering little look then. “No, because I care about the well-being of my team” Shiro replies flatly. “I’m not always all gruff and seriousness” he adds over a sip from his mug.

hey reminder that i’m not cross over friendly yet! OCs are great as long as you have a bio and a rules page! it’s just A Lot to deal with right now and even thinking about doing a cross over is hurting my brain

   “Pineapple? Man…” Keith starts, letting his head loll back as he looks to the

     endless ceiling. “I’d kill for a pineapple pizza right now.”

Shiro nodded in confirmation: “Pineapple Pizza.”

“I remember at Galaxy Garrison... sorta, little splotches here and there but I sorta remember that the Cafeteria food wasn’t half bad” he laughed. “Pizza night was fun...” he chuckled.

Shiro laughed a little, ruffling the graying part of his hair a little.

“That sounds.... like a good old-fashioned challenge” he hums in return. Shiro settles heavier into his seat even as he says that though.

     Lance’s eyes are practically shining. ❝An ex-cop dog!❞ he exclaims, brimming with energy and excitement. ❝That’s not surprising in the least,❞ he laughs, but he can’t help but feel a little curl of sympathy for Shiro. He definitely misses his dogs, so he can’t imagine how Shiro feels. ❝Tugboat,❞ he beams, testing the name on his tongue. ❝Yeah? That’s so cool. You could even bring her to the Garrison?❞

     ❝Oro was my golden retriever,❞ Lance explains, resting his hand on Blue’s giant paw. ❝My brother was only young when we got the puppy, so Leo named him after the colour gold, obviously. I named the husky with my mum, though. Her name is Lotti. I heard it on the TV one time.❞ 

“Well.... my first year I more or less snuck her in” Shiro admits with a laugh. “Iverson stopped trying after awhile, brought morale up” he half-joked, tugging on Black’s ear and receiving a chatter of annoyance and a heavy paw on him.

“Oro and Lotti” he smiles back. “Good dogs...” he laughs a little.
