Inspired by Peter S. Beagle's "The Last Unicorn" and Rebecca Sugar’s "Steven Universe", I toyed around with the concept for this new design. ^ ^ Meet the rare moonstone cervicorn named Enya. She may share the same origins as the moonstone unicorns, but she may very well be the only deer kin in the Lun-Kai race. She is free-spirited, open-minded and shows concern and compassion to all around her. Enya worries though for fate of her brethren. In her childhood, she was lost helplessly searching through the dark forest for shelter. She thought however that luck had found her when a drow stumbled upon her in the swamp. She was proven wrong when that drow was only searching for a mana-born creature to sell her to some other drows that sought to extract her raw moonstone magic. Much to her pain, it left her chest stone cracked. Being such a rare moonstone magic-born creature, it's no surprise that they would seek to try uprooting her mana and life source. As a result, her magic powers aren't quite as potent as originally born with. She was however rescued by a dragon that had broken loose from drow captivity. Since then, she assumed the role of the cervicorn's adoptive mother, but such a blessing wouldn't last forever. On her heaviest days, she claims that she can feel her fragile body dying around her. This at times can terrify her to tears, claiming that she is more afraid of it than even the drow assassin who finished her adoptive mother, who to this day still searches Vyradel for her. She is very much a lost, lonely, frightened soul who seeks to heal and search for what matters most to her in the world.
