I want to know more about Eats-Much-Bread. Is he a goody-two-shoes, or would he absolutely risk prison for that tasty tasty bread, ala Jean Valjean? (Does he actually even like bread, or is his name some kind of ironic joke?) Basically what is his relationship with bread?

They were given that name because the first time they were in Riften (they crossed into skyrim from Morrowind) they went to the Bee and the Barb and asked in very accented speech, for some bread. And then ate 7 loaves. So yes, they love bread. 

They will DEFINITELY risk prison for that bread, and thats the only reason why they’re good at sneaking. They steal the bread.

Bread is the only thing they really eats. They don’t like fruit or vegetables, nor do they like meat (although they will dip the bread in stew). Its a miracle they’re even alive.

Looks like I'm going to need more info on Eats-Much-Bread. (The more I learn the more I want to learn.) What are their impulses regarding generosity? If they spotted a small, ragged, thin-as-bones homeless child staring longingly at their bread, would they give the kid a little? The whole loaf? Or would the kid have to actually ask before EMB thinks to give them any?

Hmmm, it depends. If EMB is just wondering around the city, and see’s the kid, they’ll probably hand the kid half a loaf, and enough gold to be able to stay in the tavern for the night (not rent a room, but to not be kicked out inside sort of thing). If EMB was in a mood, or on their way to deal with business, the kid might have to ask them, or wave at them. They usually gives at least a little, They never skips out on helping kids.
