PLEAS READ 👉🏻 This past weekend at the CrossFit Games was a BLAST to say the least. I missed being out on that floor and experiencing the energy of the competition and the environment. Honestly, it bothered me ALOT to consistently hear I was “out of retirement” for the weekend or people asking “aren’t you retired?”. No - I have a real GIFT of entertaining and being on the mic as a Master of Ceremony and I will always be down to honor that gift when the circumstances are right. Currently, I have a full time job with full benefits, a gym, a house, a wife, and a child on the way (like weeks away). That is a lot of responsibility I carry and my MAIN priority is and will always be that. Leaving to go on 4-5 day trips to work as an MC is something I can do IF and ONLY IF my time away from that will be justified both in time spent away AND financially. That is just my reality now. There are SO MANY events that I have done in the past (CF Games, WZA, GG, etc), have LOVED being a part of, but had to make the decision to turn down this year due to those responsibilities and needs not being met. I struggled with this, but know I made the right choice when it comes to being the leader of my household. I want to leave it at this. I AM NOT A RETIRED MC and never will be. I love honoring my gift on the mic and that was solidified this past weekend at the Games. THANK YOU CrossFit Games for making every moment worthwhile and for making time away from my family and day job WORTH IT. You guys continue to give me the opportunity to do what I love on the biggest stage. You guys did an unbelievable job taking care of us this year and I look forward to having the opportunity again this upcoming season. If you’re looking for an MC for your upcoming event, please don’t hesitate to reach out...
