Have you read Warbreaker or Elantris?
Elantris was my very first Brandon Sanderson Novel!!! After reading it I went into a huge binge-reading of his work. Warbreaker is on my to-read list. I’m not really interested in Alcatraz and though Wheel of Time is on my reading list, from what I hear, I might not be able to make it through the series long enough to get to his books. Also after the disappointment I had in Shadows of Self, I won’t be picking up Bands of Mourning anytime soon. Sad because I love Marasi so much, but the book felt less like a continuation of Mistborn and more like a fanfiction of the Mistborn universe complete with unnecessary cameos and call-outs. And now this post has gotten out of hand!
