In honor of the new CFV anime here’s some edits .
Now that it’s finally done, gathering all the parts of my Gyze!Chrono AU in one place.
A Moment To Late
Chrono’s friends arrive just a touch to late to save him from Relics.
A rewrite of episode 7 of GZ

With Chrono missing Ibuki becomes the Apostle’s next target.
Basically a rewrite of the Ibuki vs Gastille fight.

Today on Card Game Anime Reactions: CFVGZ Final Turn
I’m teary eyed. This episode is the end of the second generation of Vanguard, and I’m sad to see it go. It is sad, how TRY3 has to give up their bonds with their units, in order to protect those very same bonds. I’m just... There were actual consequences to their win!
Please ignore that.
CFVG was a wild ride, toying with our emotions but at the same time giving a really compelling story. Some might say it was too heavily Chrono focused. I would agree to a point. Instead, I found that the story and character development was quite nicely distributed between all of team TRY3, from start to finish. Even side characters were put into spotlight for a number of episodes, Taiyou and Kazuma having some of the most impact of Chrono’s journey. It was amazing how each and every character grew into themselves.
As sad as I am that Kazuma kinda didn’t really get the character focus arc he should have deserved, this is what I saw - Kazuma was a reflection of Chrono’s past self, and Chrono, seeing this wanted with all his heart to pass on what he had learned and overcome to Kazuma. Does anyone notice that Kazuma, even when he learned that he was to be Gyze’s vessel, he didn’t fear loosing anymore? That in itself was amazing and showed off his growth from the beginning of G NEXT. Chrono used his experience to build up Kazuma. And that? That was worth it.
Then there’s the nostalgia trip this episode decided to give us - with the whole introductory narration of what Vanguard was, something that had only been done in the beginnings of Vanguard G, the original Stride animation, and then the return of the first OP Break It? Yeah the FEELS.
This was a good ending. It was an emotionally charged one that had stakes and had consequences for winning. I’ve enjoyed my journey with the CFVG cast, and it was worth it.
(Though, Chrono’s newest Stride is freaking OP, I mean, SKIPPING YOUR OPPONENT’S TURN?! Yikes. But hey, Chrono’s Strides have always been kinda OP. Now... I need to write more on “Can you here me?”)
With the Vanguard reboot on the horizon, I’ve gotten back into the game and rebuilt my Shadow Paladin deck. Initially I left the game because I wasn’t really into the whole Stride mechanic, but I’m now interested in seeing a card game get a full on reboot. With that said, here’s my deck list! Again, not a fan of Strides so they aren’t in here

I forgot to post them here, but here are the rest of my inktober drawings
I will try to keep it short.
I can't wait for next ep. Chaos Breaker vs. Kai and Aichi. There will be glimpse of Kazumi vs. Gyze fight.
I don't think that Onimaru will reach Kazuma. Gyze is much stronger than Shiranui, so breaking free is much harder. That is my opinion.
On side note, I am glad that underneath that robe, Kazuma is at least wearing some shoes and trousers. Even with that official pictrue of him, I got scared. I thought he will be naked under it.
