“A Sadness Runs Through Them”- Silentshipping

"I know." "So... who did you come out here then?" "Because, you shouldn't have to be alone right now." --------------------------- Before we get into this, a bit of context because I’ve never posted tthis pair on Tumblr before. This is “SilentShiiping”, my OC Aria Edan and Toshiki Kai from Cardight! Vanguard. These two are definetly one of my more complicated ships, and I really haven’t explained their story or dynamic to anyone yet... So. I'm currently on break from school. Know what that means? I have WAYYYY too much time on my hands. So, here, have some Silentshipping. I still can’t figure out if this is fluff or angst tho... all I know is that I love these two a lot. Also, the most recent episode of CFV was Kai-centric, so I wanted to draw him, haha Okay! How about a little context? Basically, this is right after Aria lost someone very important to her, really the only person who's always been by her side. Needless to say, she felt very alone after this. It was Kai who took it upon himself to make sure she wasn't on her own. He's gone through what she is going through, he knows how hard it is to face the world alone. As for the drawing itself, I think its some of my finest work! I really like both Kai and Aria's poses and how they go together, not to mention their expressions! OH MY LORD THEIR EXPRESSIONS. I adore the look of wonder Aria has and also Kai's somewhat bashful look, haha This drawing wasn't going to have an environment at first, but I had time. Thus, starry night sky.
