a/n: hihi :) I wrote this little snippet when I had a doctor’s appointment coming up and wanted to share! pls enjoy some sannie comfort 🤍
“Sannie, m’ nervous.”
San pulled you close to his chest, kissing your crown before tucking his chin over your head. “I know, honey. But Sannie will come with you, and after it’s all done we can go eat lunch, hm?”
You nodded in agreement to San’s words. You hadn’t been feeling little before, but with the mix of anxiety and San’s coddling, you were definitely slipping now. You fiddled with a string on the edge of the blanket.
“Can I bring Deoki?” You questioned, referring to your little purple cat plush that currently lied in a blanket on your dresser. Princesses and beds, you know.
“Of course you can, sweetie. I’m sure Deoki would love to come with you.”
You murmured a quiet little sound, no longer feeling up to words. Instead you focused on your senses, intrigued by the soft tshirt in front of your face. It smelled faintly clean and sea salty, with a sweet warm undertone. One of those fancy perfumes from San’s work, probably. The feel of the cloth was thin and soft under your cheek when you pressed against it, the warmth of his skin easily transferred through the well worn material. You nuzzled happily into the feeling.
You heard San’s heartbeat under your ear, steady and relaxed, his hand now gently combing through your hair. Curious, you stretched a bit to take the fabric between your teeth, suckling on it. It didn’t have much of a taste, but the feeling of it was soothing, making you feel soft and sleepy. You cinched the material into your fist, snuggling closer and closing your eyes.
“There we are,” San cooed above you. “There’s my little one. Do you want your paci?”
As tempting as that was, you had no desire to move or have your caregiver move, either. You shook your head, still attached to his shirt.
He chuckled, the sound vibrating under your cheek. “Alright, then. Get some sleep, honey. I’ll be right here.”
With that he pulled the blanket up over your shoulders, reaching over you to turn the nightlight off. He settled back down into the blankets, pressing a kiss to your head before nestling his head into the pillows. You listened to the sound of his quiet breathing and steady heartbeat until it eventually lulled you to a peaceful sleep, worries washed away for the night <3
Cg! Ateez : They’re baby gets hurt at the park! :(
Hongjoong:
Hongjoong would most likely be on a bench while you played he had a long day at work and wanted to relax while you did your own thing in the empty park, it was the best time to go anyways! Kids were still in school, it wasn’t far from the company nor home and barely anyone went there anyways besides other idols. Hongjoong was looking at his phone when all the sudden he heard a cry and a shout of “Papa!” Which would cause any caregivers head to shoot up in alarm. There was his sweet baby on the ground in front of the swings, of course he’d rush over! What kind of papa would he be if he didn’t. He’d coo at you “Aw love what happened! Did you try to jump from the swings to get off? Let Papa see.” He’d check your hands and gently feel your ankles just incase of swelling. Once he knew you were okay, and only had a slight scrape he’d kiss your scrap and take you back home to get you cleaned up and give you kisses apologizing for your little scrape. Hongjoong would give you a big hug and make you a snack and extend bedtime just by a little bit.
Seonghwa:
He took you to the park cause he had a day off from busy idol life, he thought it would be fun to let you play while he picked out the diner to go to meet up with everyone else who absolutely adored you. Of course Seonghwa would multitask watching you, and even playing as well but while playing around chasing you because you wanted him to play monsters you tripped and fell down, he’d immediately kneel down to your level and gently place you into his lap, “Let mama see where it hurts.” When he saw your poor hands all red he felt his heart ache, he got up holding you not really caring if others saw because his baby comes first. He’d have you sit on the bench and go into his bag he always brought around with him while you were regressed in public, he’d have wipes, hand sanitizer, bandages and masks and of course toys. Seonghwa seems like the type to always want to be over prepared then under, “Aw Mamas poor baby, you’re hands are so red.” He’d use the wipes to clean your hands off and tell you silly things so you wouldn’t cry and feel better. Seonghwa wouldn’t take you home but spoil your appetite before you both went to go the diner to meet with everyone else. He’s give your cheeks kisses and tell you how much he loves you. Just don’t tell Jongho that he bought you two extra toys that day or else Seonghwa will get in trouble for spoiling you too much.
Yunho:
He shouldn’t have told Hongjoong that big brother Yunho could take care of you at the park. He was maybe, slightly, definitely distracted talking to someone who he found interesting because of the outfit they were wearing. He only paid full attention when he heard “Owie! Yunho!” And the a loud sob he spun around so quick he thought he was about to get a headache. When he saw your face red and a slight bloody nose from you getting hit from a ball since you we’re playing with another little at the park, he felt his heart drop suddenly he rush over and even though it was unsanitary he used his sleeve to help stop the bleeding. He kissed your forehead and repeatedly asked if you want him to call Mama or Papa when you said no you want dada he knew it was more of a parental moment then big brother moment. “Dadas so sorry he wasn’t paying attention, my poor moon. Let me take you to go see that new movie you wanted to watch Hongjoong won’t be too mad if we’re late to dinner.” Ten more forehead kisses and a stop to a convince store to wash you up, he’d take you do go see a movie and just spoil the hell out of you until Hongjoong called and said you both needed to come home because it was dark. He’d let you sleep in his room for the night and give extra cuddles, no teasing you like a big brother would or anything just cuddles and maybe another movie.
San:
He was just doing big brother duties, pushing you around a bit, teasing you, chasing you and jump scaring you to hear you giggle and run. He was more in a big brother headspace then a father one so that’s why he choose the park to go play! He turned his head for one moment and you fell. How? He didn’t know and didn’t want to ask because he’d feel terrible. He hugged you as you cried about how your hands hurt from the fall and he’d kiss your hands until you started to giggle and smile again. “How about we play on the swings. Can’t get hurt on that can you?” He’d tease gently poking your forehead before taking you to go play more, he’d swing by you gently and ask you questions about what you wanted for your next stuffed animal and even talk about sharing a strawberry cake with you. When you weren’t paying attention he’d look for a new spot that opened up so you too could go get something to eat. I think San would also feel guilty about looking away from you for like next twenty minutes because if hadn’t looked away maybe he could’ve prevented your fall.

San as your Caregiver!
San to me gives off a mix of big brother caregiver and a parental one too
I do agree with you he’d be stern but not loud at all it would be more of a “Hey sweetheart i told you to not touch that please I don’t want it to fall and break, then you get spooked.”
I think he’d call you sweetheart, darling, tiny, a shorter version of your name and baby as a parental caregiver but as a older brother caregiver he’d just call you tiny no matter the height difference
I think he’d also be very cuddly too I think most of Ateez would be cuddly caregivers and regressors
San doesn’t really care much about what you call him when your little, he’s comfortable as long as your comfy
I think San would also take you to the park a lot and to dance practice with him I could see him finding it funny when you randomly stop and get confused with the counts as a older brother caregiver of course like the good big brother he is he’ll give a little giggle first and then help you out
As a parental caregiver you’d go everywhere with him when little of course if you’re able to but I can see him trying to take you along on tour, to the company and everything else
I think San would also let you take his phone along he has specific games and apps you can go on because he knows sometimes sitting there and waiting for him to finish up in the studio can most likely get boring after hour three hits
He’d buy you jelly cats but only the silly ones he’d buy the other ones for you if you really like them
I do think he has rules like bedtime, if you’re more older when little I think he’d give you chores too but nothing hard like the dishes or washing the table and no sneaking the good candy hes got it hidden for a reason he’s saving it for your birthday

is a tad bit confused when you first tell him, considering you just explained it as feeling “small and vulnerable”
poor sannie thought you meant you were feeling scared and just needed a bit of comfort
but you were too shy to go more in depth at the time
so after a few more times of you toddling into his room, and his naver history being filled with blankets and pacis and little gear, he asked if your feelings were related to agere
when you nodded he honestly felt relieved, glad to have an explanation for the rather new situation
but! is sooo so happy to take care of you after that, especially knowing that it makes you feel happy and safe

you whined softly into the blanket under your cheek, pouting at the unfairness of it all. san, distracted by the drama onscreen, glanced down at where you had flopped halfway into his lap on the couch, cheek smushed against his lap.
"what's wrong, babygirl?" he said softly, peering over you to look at your face. He tucked a lock of hair behind your ear so he could see you, frowning when your pouting eyes met his.
"tummy huuurts," you complained, pout increasing as the movement caused another wave of pain in your belly. san mirrored your pout, brows creased in sympathy. "i'm sorry, honey," he said, hand returning to your hair, "is there anything I can do to help?"
"no," you huffed sadly, already turning back around, "I'll just suffer forever."
You heard a chuff of laughter as san halted you mid turn, scooping you up under the armpits and pulling you up with him as he stood. you koala'd around him without hesitation, arms snaking around his neck.
"young-ah!" he called into the dorm, "baby's tummy is hurting! come snuggle her while i go to the bathroom!"
within moments a black mop of hair could be seen careening around the corner into your field of vision, wooyoung's face centimeters from yours within seconds. a large frown adorned his features, and he made grabby hands at you to get you to unlatch from san.
you pouted as he tugged gently at your arms, and you shoved your face all the way into san's neck to try to burrow into him. You could hear the sulk in wooyoung’s voice as he spoke. "come on, I know he's comfy, trust me, but you gotta let me hold you for a sec while he's gone!"
you promptly ignored him.
"what, do you not love me anymore?" he said sadly, poking your arms and lightly flicking locks of your hair around.
you stayed silent.
"sannieeeeeeee," he finally pouted, draping over his friend's back and laying his arms over yours, "baby doesn't love me anymore. she only wants cuddles from the more muscular members, this isn't fair!!"
san rolled his eyes fondly, ready to scold wooyoung for guilt tripping you when you felt unwell, but you interrupted him before he could. "i do love you," you mumbled, still hiding in san's neck, "i'm just comfy and don't wanna movee."
wooyoung picked his head up from where it had been pillowed on your arms, probably to toss back a teasing rebuttal, and san sighed fondly, straightening so wooyoung would stand on his own.
"okay," san said quickly, before the argument could spiral into something more than playful poutiness, "you two are both being deposited on the couch until I get back— hush, baby, you're okay— and then I'll come back and it will have been five minutes max and everyone will be fine, deal?"
when he was met with one very bright "sounds good!" and one other very poignant beat of silence, he tapped your back where he was holding you to him.
"sound good, baby?"
more silence.
"you know uyu is just as comfy as me, why are you pouting, hm? was wooyoungie mean to you? does sannie have to beat him up? do I have to get hongjoongie oppa?" san was smiling through his words now, but he could hear you stifle a giggle.
at wooyoung's responding indignant yelp, your giggle broke free and you pulled away from his shoulder, light laughs still shaking your shoulders. You met san’s fond smile with a shy grin.
"my turn with the baby now?" wooyoung interrupted hopefully, arms outstretched to you. you nodded, unlatching from san's shoulders to wrap around wooyoung when you were deposited on his hip. you snaked your arms around his neck. wooyoung was comfy.
san patted your head. "i'll just be a moment," he soothed when he could see the pout reforming on your lips. you nodded sullenly, and san looked at your other caregiver pleadingly, who obliged and whisked you away to the couch, plopping down with a dramatic oomf.
“Silly sannie and his bathroom trips. Nobody needs those, do they pumpkin?” wooyoung said softly, rearranging you on his lap when he had settled down where his friend had been moments before.
“mm-mh” you agreed sadly, pulling away to give your caregiver your best puppy eyes.
He pouted back at you, teasing gently. “Oh, my poor baby. You look just like yuyu! Such a sad little puppy pup. say woof! woof!” He playfully gave you puppy scratches and peppered your cheeks with kisses until you were giggling again instead of scowling at him.
Wooyoung pinched your cheek lightly, face scrunching up in a classic case of his cuteness aggression. “There's my happy girl,” he cooed, “tell uyu what hurts, hm? So I can make it all better.”
“Tummy hurts, uyu,” you pouted once again, curling into him and resting your head against his shoulder.
Wooyoung tutted quietly, stroking your sides with gentle fingers. “Well, that won't do, will it? Can't have my baby feeling icky. How about this, when sannie gets back I'll get you some medicine and a little something to eat. Does that sound good?” he suggested.
“M’kay, uyu,” you said sleepily. You burrowed further into the comfy spot you had found, your thumb finding its way into your mouth.
“and your paci,” he smiled, combing a hand through your hair.
