Ryan: you two need a plan, I’ve already emailed you 4 jobs each that I think you’d be good at—

Gabe: you know what’s not fair? Being disowned by your parents for something you can’t change. your big sister saying she’s on your side but doing the opposite. having to wonder if your little sister still remembers your face. that’s not fair. 

Liam: I hear you, but dawn’s really changed, she’s been educating herself. we both have!

[Gabe sighs.]

Liam: Maybe I shouldn’t have come. I didn’t want to upset you…you don’t even have to come to the ceremony. Just show your face at the reception. You can even bring a plus one. 

Gabe: I’ll think about it.

Gabe: Why are you here Liam?

Liam: Wedding’s this saturday. You didn’t rsvp. 

Gabe: You expected me to?

Liam [sighing]: It’s your sister’s wedding, Gabriel. Dawn wants you in her life. We both do. 

Liam: you needed space and we gave you that, but it’s been years. You know her heart was in the right place.

Gabe: was it? because to me it looked like once again, dawn was being a fucking coward.

derek: we know that it’s going to be an adjustment and we wanted to tell you sooner but--

janelle: how long have you known about this?

derek: ...a couple a months.

derek: we didn’t want it to come to this. we’re at our wits end, janelle!

jasper: and we love you, but you’re an adult, and it’s time we started treating you like one.

janelle: okay well this adult, now has to figure out how to pay rent and not be homeless within 4 weeks. night, y’all! *ends call*
