I rewatched season 3 of Cgi Hatmotu, and the "Havoc corruption" arc was as fun to watch as the first time I watched it.

So yeah! Have Teela from HC au cause why not! XDD

Could you please explain the relationship between Teela and Elderess in the CGI show? Is Teela her reincarnation? Is she a clone?

"Yes" to both.

After the confrontation with Keldor, Eldress was dying. With the last of her power before dying, she did 2 things:

she sent Adam to the Vine Jungle where he was found and raised by Cringer

she willed the last of her life-force into a new form and sent it some place she hoped was safe

That life-force was found by Man-e-Faces and became Teela. So, Teela is both Eldress' clone because her body is a reproduction of Eldress when she was young, and Teela is also Eldress' reincarnation because she is Eldress continuing to live on after her death. And, Teela is also a secret third thing: Teela is also Eldress' daughter since Eldress gave life to her.

Okaaaay, a bit more stuff from this au cause augh it's stuck in my brain, I can't help it. And like, uh, kinda fake screenshot moment thingy? I guess? XD

Anyyyyyyyways I like to add "nightmare episodes" in my fics/au's sooo yeah, poor Teela has a nightmare about some future events (I'm saying this as if I had a fic imao XD)

But she tries to convince herself that this nightmare connected not to the future but to past events (aka season 3 episode 4-6 events)

She has a lot of questions to ask and Adam won't be able to avoid answering them forever. Give the boi a break XDDD

I like her a lot.

Core/CGI Teela is probably my favorite out of all the incarnations of Teela across the whole franchise.

Teela has consistently been written by people who don't understand her character and how she fits into the lore. As such, Teela has been portrayed inconsistently for decades, even within the same run of media. In 2002, depending on who was writing the episode, Teela was either the only one on the team who got hurt and had to be taken care of my the others, or else she was an mean-girl who harassed Adam endlessly.

Kevin Smith's MotU:R managed to portray Teela much more consistently, but he went too hard on the raw emotion and made Teela come off as scathing and unfeeling. Again, a hard character to like.

In the DC run of the comics, Teela became nothing more than ass and titty material. Eye-candy with only superficial character depth and the bare minimum of development necessary to move the story.

But Core/CGI Teela doesn't have any of those problems. Her emotions and her behavior, how the interacts with the rest of the team and her role in the story all make sense with her background and upbringing. Her role in the story is understood by the writers and her character portrayal and development are consistent with the goal in mind of her rejoining with Eldress and becoming the TRUE new Sorceress of Castle Grayskull.

Core/CGI Teela is Best Teela.

I donno why you keep asking me to draw things. I'm not good at it. But I like CGI Teela (she's probably my favorite of all the versions of Teela), so I really wanted to try this one.

But, like I said, I'm not good at drawing. So my Teela leaves a lot to be desired. I just can't do the character justice.

My friend, however, is very good at drawing and she accepts commissions!

She's reworking her prices right now, so she's not accepting commissions for colors or fan fic illustrations. But she is taking base sketch commissions still and a base sketch from her is only $3 !

CGI Eldress and Teela have a better mom and daughter relationship than 2002 Teela and Sorceress, and CGI aren't even related!

That we know of. CGI Teela and Eldress aren't related that we know of. I'm not gonna rule it out just yet.

Anyway, Eldress and Teela have a better mother-daughter relationship because they have an actual relationship! They talk to each other. They have had multiple complete conversations. Eldress has eased Teela's fears, she's reassured her of not only her powers, but of her own identity as an individual. She's mentored her and educated her. Everything a parent is supposed to do.

Teela and the Sorceress only have professional conversations in the context of Captain of the Eternos Guard and Sorceress of Grayskull. Any mother-daughter conversation they have is immedietly wiped from Teela's mind the next moment because the Sorceress can't let Teela know where she comes from for some reason? Even their conversation at the end of Revelation Part 2 fell just short of a true familial connection.
