i'm really so delighted by the fact that luffy has a special gear 5 laugh. it's this あっひゃっひゃっひゃ/ahhyahhyahhya that he only does in gear 5, and he does it every time.

it's not the only way he laughs in gear five (he actually laughs in a lot of different ways, including his trademark shishishi just a couple pages before this) but i have definitely quickly come to associate this one with gear 5 specifically, especially because it shows up for the first time on the page where he's finally properly revealed at the end of chapter 1044.

Love that Kizaru’s just chilling, arms crossed, unconcerned, until he realizes that hey maybe he should not fall into the ocean and decides to do something about it.

Back to…whatever this is. I’d have more of an opinion if I knew exactly what Lucci was up to since he’s been very contradictory this whole arc but for the meantime it’s a thing that’s happening.

Sentomaru is…not having a good day…he’s really done everything he can to stand up for Vegapunk and Bonney and the citizens of Egghead, and I respect him for that. But also I have to say that for as many times as it’s been reiterated how dangerous the laser barrier is we’ve now had…three characters get blasted by it and they all came out more-or-less okay in the end so it feels a little over-hyped.
