so this is primarily for six sentence sunday, but it falls under the excerpt category as well. i know i’ve posted a lot of stuff about absent illusion today, but i hope it’s not bothering anyone! this isn’t the first six sentences of absent illusion, but it’s very close to the beginning. hope you enjoy the read!

Ronaele replies in a stream of brightly colored images across the mindscape that spans between them. The memory of the party they held for her sixteenth birthday- one of her own memories, not one belonging to the gryphon. A flash of streamers and balloons- something that they’d briefly witnessed during someone else’s graduation day before Aria was shuffled away from the occasion. It takes a few more seconds, but Aria is able to piece together what her partner is trying to say rather quickly.

“I don’t know about all that.”
