Location: The Roast @xavier-bennett
As the days have gotten hotter, swinging by the gardens in the evening wasn’t quite that comfortable between the heat and the mosquitoes. That’s how he found himself early in the morning parking in front of The Roast for an oat milk latte and as he stepped inside it seemed like everyone else in Edgewood had the same idea. As he stepped in line to queue, Spencer eyed the tables in hopes of getting lucky. He didn’t like to rush or take his coffee to go. When someone bumped into him as they walked past he almost turned to leave, but there were only 2 more people in front of them.
‘Just a few more minutes,’ he thought as he kept focused on the people around him and when he could see someone else stepping way too close he used his powers instinctively. The person’s elbow passed through his arm and he tensed. ‘Don’t act suspicious, even if someone just saw that guy pass clean through me, it’s morning, they didn’t have their coffee yet.’ Spencer took a step forward as the queue moved and avoided looking around him.
