So, I’m about a day off on my typical writing schedule (I hit an emotional funk today that laid me out flat), so it’s possible Ch. 55 might not be up till Tuesday. Which, honestly, would be kinda fitting given that it’ll be May 4th! Thought I might just give y’all a heads up!

At the end of the chapter Victor is seen voicing his extreme concerns (about Worick) to Uranos. He continues to question why he chose to allow him in, as Worick could destroy all the plans the Corsica family has spent a long time devising. Uranos assures him to not worry and that his decision was on a whim, because he thinks it’ll “be more fun” that way. So it’s safe to assume we’re going to see Worick in a tight situation in ch 56!
