What makes me sad/angry about the failed confessions are that Gosho seems to think that this romantic tensions is needed. That every interesting part about Heiji and Kazuha will be over after the confession. But they won’t ride in the sunset all loveydovey after it because it’s Heiji and Kazuha, goddammit! They won’t have an idea how to act after that and try to figure out new ground roles for their relationship/friendship. And I want to see that. Heiji doesn’t have an idea how to act as a proper boyfriend. And Kazuha will get mad about it and they argue and Heiji’s gonna try doing better. And I want to see that. I’m so curious about their character development. But Gosho won’t let us witness the development and turns it more and more into a joke with every new failed confession.

The confession won’t be the end but a new chapter…...
