So Begins The Final “Kill”
Being the last test to prove themselves and achieve their goals, as well as fulfilling the request made by their rival, Class E is even more motivated to sharpen their “hidden weapons” for the last stretch in their academic life to the point even Korosensei’s starting to wear thin…ish.
And as they commit themselves to hours of study periods, flash cards, and group work, the day of reckoning has finally arrived as they head for the battlefield in the main school building.
Although it’s unsettling how Class A’s blood lust is heighten to the max, Karma assures the others that it’s evident that the type of thirst emanating from their rivals isn’t exactly the kind that would kill them so easily.
With all that they have achieved in this year, through failure and success, they are ready to kill this final test before them to prove that they are not the “Dead-End Class” that everyone has labeled them for years.
Which One Are You?
Seeing as the students are making sure to have a friendly battle on the day of Finals, Korosensei makes sure to do the same as he surprises Chairman Asano with a sweet and gracious gift to thank him for keeping his existence a secret from the public, as well as being a worthy rival to fight with during this one year of his teaching career.
It looks like even Chairman Asano doesn’t know too much about who Korosensei was in the past either, as he points out that this is his first time teaching, as well as the fact that he’d never told anyone ((other than Nagisa who he only hinted to a few times))
the reason he became a teacher. Of course Korosensei, as usual, tries to sweep this invasive question in the form of a “friendly wager” as nothing of importance, and decides to ask a question of his own to the Chairman as he expresses that there are at least two main reasons a person decides to become a teacher; Which judging from the flashback panel implies of something that may be the root of Chairman's obsession for success, and which may tie to Korosensei's own roots.
((Yuusei’s amazing for keeping us on our toes for so long with this mystery that will surely blow us all away.))
The Spirit of Competition
((Way to respond to that so maturely, Karma.))
Considering how sincere he is being towardsthem, the Class can hardly see a reason to deny Gakushuu their help; though it wasn’t as though they weren’t going to make such efforts in defeating the Chairman and Class A anyway.
And also they can’t help but agree with Gakushuu that despite the many times they’d clashed before in the past, deep down they too enjoyed the spirit of competition between them that drove them to become as strong as they are now, and in many ways that makes them indebted to Class A.
Of course they make sure to remind Gakushuu that he better come in with guns blazing, since they don’t plan to pull any of their punches when the time comes, which in turn makes him feel a little better knowing he’ll be facing a worthy rival in this bunch once again.
