Oresama Teacher Ch.127
The Dark Tale of Momotaro
While there are still a few students who are still under the impression that they can still deem Class E as the “Dead End” Class, their snide little comments are quickly silenced as the best-for-last production goes underway.
Once again, the students put on the full display of their skills before their “targeted” audience as they decide to go with a modern rendition of the classic tale of Momotaro to “kill them.”
Well you’ve gotta hand it to Hazama, this play really does reflect her uniquely dark sense of taste as they are given a terrifyingly tragic version of a prequel to Momotaro’s birth, where his parents decide to file for divorce based on brutally shocking evidence of an abusive relationship, as well as a monstrously demonic husband’s obsession to make money off of their unborn child.
And while it seems like things ended well with the divorce of the couple to round the play off, Hazama puts a dash of suspense at the fact that the baby may one day inherit the same darkness as his father.
((God, love this girl, she deserves an Oscar.))
Divvying Up the Roles
Now that they know what they must prepare for before they can assassinate their teacher, the Class begins to carry out the arduous task of divvying up the roles for everyone.
As usual, Korosensei pleads with his students to allow him to take part in this assignment alongside them as the lead role, which of course is met with much objection from his independent band of youths.
((Aww, I can’t help but feel sorry for him again. It’s like the “uncool” parent wanting to spend time with his kids.))
Thankfully their newly appointed playwright, Hazama, assures him that she will make sure he gets the perfect lead role, and begins to take this bull by the horns as she surprisingly fills in as their leader by assigning roles to everyone;
which, much to Sugino’s delight, ended up pairing him with his biggest crush.
((Aw, it ‘does’ feel like the whole class has been rooting for these two throughout their third year.))
With this matter settled the class can’t help but feel pumped again to show the school what they’ve got.
((And once more a ‘thank you’ to Yuusei for making sure to give equal treatment by portraying each student’s abilities and quirks.))
