First of all I love your blog I'm not kidding when I say u have the best takes on the aot fandom along w queenackermann😌✨ Anyways I wanted to ask u what was your interpretation on the conversation between Eren and Historia in chapter 130, about how their flashback was intercalated with the Eren and Zeke talk about Mikasa and her feelings for Eren. Basically why do you think Isayama decided to put their interaction along the theme of love. I love Eremika but ngl I've seen some takes about how those panels meant Eren was thinking about H while talking about Mikasa's feelings bc that's the way he felt about Historia instead and they kinda make sense. Truth is I don't get why Isym decided to do it that way.

Well, I already have answered this question here (with more explanation on why it even happened).

My short answer is that Zeke’s questions were “How will you respond? What are you saying, brothers?” and Eren’s answer was “I’ve got 4 more years to live at most (and I will try to make my plan real during these remaining 4 years, so my loved ones can live long and happy lives even after I die)”.

Historia’s suggestion to get pregnant to escape eating Zeke gave him an opportunity to continue his mission and that’s why it crossed his mind (again, I have more explanations here).

What Things Have Come To

Conducting research on Yukimura Akari through her old films, the class is still in awe of the fact that this is undoubtedly who Kayano Kaede really is, and feel sad and betrayed that everything that she had done in the classroom with them was all a pretense for her own pursuit of revenge.

Although it’s hard to feel total contempt towards her as they know nothing of the truth, they turn to Korosensei for the answers that they are now seeking of the person they’d thought was their ally and friend; as well as their own homeroom teacher who had been harboring such a dark secret this whole time.

Of course they assure him that they will not blindly turn away or abandon him when they hear the truth, but given the way things have turned out, he can no longer avoid this. And obviously they won’t be satisfied until he comes clean with them.

Realizing that there is no alternative in this situation, Korosensei agrees to his students that he will tell them about his past…however, he will only do it when they are ALL together.

No matter what Kayano/Akari says, to him she is still part of their class, and he feels that she too has a right to hear everything from him.

And when the class arrives at the appointed time and place in which she intends to carry out her final act, it’s time to see who’s “blade” will be drawn first as teacher and student cross swords.

((Again, the fact that he’d left her a note back then to tell her of the place that he’d been waiting still weighs on my mind, and will likely be a key point in what Korosensei was planning after he’d killed Aguri.))

A Little Advice from “Big Brother”

Although she’d not exposed them until they were at a proper development to be used, it’s clear from how she is straining to handle them now that her reason for baring them at last wasn’t simply a matter of “being at the right moment.”

Considering she’d been in possession of the tentacles this whole time without even giving them the proper maintenance that they need, her body was likely reaching its limit as they drew closer to the date, which gave her little choice but to move her plans forward while she was able to control them. Not surprisingly she’d recently been working with Shiro after he’d figured out who she was. Though that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ve joined forces from the look of things.

However given the fact that they have a common target who they both loath for one reason or another, they probably made some sort of agreement to assist each other as business partners.

And when you think about how Shiro had even said once that he didn’t mind not getting the credit for personally killing Korosensei ((as much as he would like to)), you can see why Akari wouldn’t be opposed to a temporary collaboration if it’ll help her achieve her objective.

But given her condition, Shiro can tell she’s not going to be at her peak by the hour of her challenge with Korosensei, and warns her that such tentacles will likely be her ruin at her most crucial point of attack.

Unfortunately given her personality she is far too stubborn and proud to listen to him as she rushes off to prepare for her inevitable duel. But this only amuses Shiro as he tuts that his “little sister” shouldn’t say such weak things before her “brother” who is giving her some good advice.

((Well you kinda figured when you think back to 'this' disturbing scene.))

Again a SUPER FISHY guy who is likely taking advantage of this to make his move. He definitely reminds me of a refined version of Shinigami when it comes to manipulating people, and that definitely spells trouble for everyone; including Akari.

For the Taste of Sweet Revenge

Although she’d managed to enter the school and Class 3-E without trouble, the real challenge that she had to deal with afterwards was taking and enduring the tentacle seeds.

Using what she was able to procure from the facility with the leftover tentacle serum and data that had miraculously made it through the explosion, Akari decided to have this over and done with as soon as possible so that she could have her weapon polished and ready by the time her preparations were complete.

Had she not used memories of her older sister to focus her mind this probably would have ended up a disaster like the research facility; though there is the obvious possibility that she had to holed herself up for a while to adapt to them, she truly is worthy of being considered a prodigy in handling them under the short period of time that she took them.

However despite it clearly being a dangerous undertaking with fatal consequences, her mindset would not be deterred in the least by fear of the future. Even if it meant undergoing a blinding pain that would be beyond measure, her resolve is far too potent to subdue at this point. 

As she had once told everyone before, once she’s set out to do something that she wants to do, there is no stopping her. And what Akari wanted to do more than anything was to taste the sweetness of revenge by killing the one who took away something that was important to her.

An Unforgettable Sight

Things continue to take a heavy turn in this story as we learn the truth behind Yukimura Akari’s bloodlust, and her connection to Korosensei’s past.

On that fateful day she’d happen to be waiting near the facility for her sister so that they could spend some time together after she’d decided to take an extended break from her acting career.

Although she’d hoped that they could finally catch up with each other after being apart for so long, in addition to her hopes of leading a normal life as a student, what had transpired in the blink of a moment had made her whole world come crashing down.

And unfortunately for those unaware of her being near enough to slip into the building undetected, she was the first to catch sight of a horrifying image that had burned into her memories since then of a tentacle monster looming over the dead body of her sister, with blood dripping from the tips of his long appendages as though he were amusing himself with his work.

With the monster having already fled from the scene without a trace and witnessing her sister breath her last before she could even speak to her, Akari doesn’t take very long to mourn for Aguri’s passing as she finds a note left behind by the monster on where she can find him after; which already seems a bit odd for a murderer to do, though she probably couldn’t help but overlook that fact given the grim circumstances.

However in addition to the letter that he’d left behind, she managed to happen upon a few surviving cases of what had given him the tentacle abilities in the first place, along with a laptop that maintained the information she needed on the research her sister was part of that got her killed.

Looks like fate saw fit to have her act as another catalyst in this tragedy.
