Tell Me About It Over a Drink Next Time, Brother

After defeating Senor Pink in a bare-knuckles brawl of endurance, Franky can finally carry out his task of destroying the SMILE Factory that the last of the lower executives of the family was protecting, whilst still keeping his promise to the small folk that he will not let them be slaves again.

And while the two had started out as enemies carrying out their own tasks for their crew, it looks as though Franky managed to find yet another “brother” to share a drink with for the next time while they have a heart to heart chat.

((D’aww, you’re a real stand-up guy, Franky. And him having these really cool shots would surely have Robin smiling from ear to ear.))

A Bonnet for Your Smile

((Aaand Oda’s done it again, folks.))

There’s more to the bonnet than meets the eye as Senor Pink’s past reveals a touching and tragic life in which he once had something he treasured dearly outside of the Donquixote Family.

Even though he’s surrounded by numerous beautiful women who practically fling themselves at his feet, there was only one woman in his life who he wanted to be with always; along with their precious son.

But leading a double-life in which he’d been using as a means to provide for his family proved impossible for him to achieve that kind of simple happiness, and only seemed to increase his suffering as he not only loses his son through his constant absence as a pirate, but also the cruel fate of his wife who ended up in a vegetative state; except for the times in which he wore the bonnet and looked like their son.

But even though he was ridiculed and looked down upon by the public and his colleagues alike, Senor Pink didn’t care in the least what others around him thought about his gradual change in appearance.

Because to him, the bonnet became something far more priceless to him than all the expensive suits he owned, and in time it became the sole thing that kept him connected to the life that he continues to treasure to this day.

Now we know why Franky instinctively bonded with him-he really is a man among men, too.

Tontatta Love Drama

Although Leo didn’t exactly put Manshelly in a flattering light when he’d described her to Usopp and Robin, he’s actually not much better as it turns out he’s as dense as bricks…like most of the guys in this series when it comes to matters of the heart.

But thankfully he’s got friends like Kabu to set him straight so that they don’t waste time on their usual “love drama” and prioritize on regrouping with everyone else.

However, little do they know, the Donquixote Family are still bent on taking back the Tontatta Princess who still possesses a very important trump card that will tip the scale back in their favor again should they manage to keep what is left of the factory safe.
