Fairy Adventure (One Piece x OC fanart) | ART TRADE by MajorasMasks
My part of the trade with @chechula (the OC his hers and his name is Kiwien) for Inktober, and my contribution for the "Adventure" prompt of the One Piece Week. Among @chechula’s OCs, Kiwien is probably the one I like the most. He's the king of fairies, so I immediately made the connection with the Tontatta--who were also called "fairies" by the Dressrosa people--and decided to draw him with one of them...then I added a second one for composition reasons. This scene is set after the ending of One Piece (please notice the map! ;) ); our spoiled princess Manshelly and poor Leo (who of course ended up carrying that heavy backpack :P ) decide to go on a journey around the world, and during their adventures they encounter Kiwien and ask him for directions. The book he's reading is about Devil's Fruits (in his universe, he's a member of the forest reading club). The inking is a bit messy since I used an old penbrush of mine to do it, but I had so much fun inking traditionally for once! This was supposed to be a fully traditional illustration actually, but since I was really late I decided to paint it digitally instead (I used Photoshop CS6). I hope you like it anyway! ^^
Yesterday's Inktober doodle: Mansherry.
Chapter 792 Cover
Tontatta Love Drama
Although Leo didn’t exactly put Manshelly in a flattering light when he’d described her to Usopp and Robin, he’s actually not much better as it turns out he’s as dense as bricks…like most of the guys in this series when it comes to matters of the heart.
But thankfully he’s got friends like Kabu to set him straight so that they don’t waste time on their usual “love drama” and prioritize on regrouping with everyone else.
However, little do they know, the Donquixote Family are still bent on taking back the Tontatta Princess who still possesses a very important trump card that will tip the scale back in their favor again should they manage to keep what is left of the factory safe.
