I know it's partly due to the ambiguities of the Japanese language, but Oda has really gone out of his way not to refer to Bink's Sake by its name hardly at all until we actually get the lyrics to the song. Likewise, throughout this arc and particularly the flashback, Brook and the Rumbar Pirates are singing or humming or playing Bink's Sake constantly, but we don't get the words until now. It's like the written version of Oda refusing to show an important character's eyes until the moment's appropriately dramatic.
