I don't think Rayleigh could be any cooler if he tried, but I like the composition of the middle panel. The way the aisle lines up Luffy and Rayleigh makes for both some stellar layout and symbolism for their eventual connection

I honestly don't think that the Straw Hats react this well to Luffy's decision if not for the turmoil they go through on Water 7/Enies Lobby. It's important that Luffy acknowledges and takes responsibility for what he's done, and for the other Straw Hats to accept it and follow him wholeheartedly regardless of the trouble that they're in.

In ordinary circumstances, their camaraderie would win the day.

It's just a shame that these aren't ordinary circumstances.
