Everybody be so quick to call Usopp weak and useless like he didn't immediately empty his shit on Kizaru when luffy yelled for him to do something when Zoro was down
In a world full of ridiculously strong niggas, and in the face of a 10ft tall ADMIRAL, all Usopp has is a sling shot and he still took a shot and kept shooting even though it wasn't going to work but he did it cause his captain called for him to do it
I hate ppl that keep theorizing that he's gonna die and that he's the most useless Strawhats, AS IF Luffy would let him die, the Strawhats wouldn't be the Strawhats without Usopp.

Luffy with a reader who low-key matches his freak. Someone who is a foodie like him (not to the same degree like him because lets be real no one is out eating Luffy). Someone who loves to go on adventures, affectionate, silly/goofy, and over all a little sunshine.

Monkey D. Luffy x Straw hat! Reader fluff, cuddles, luffy and reader love food , luffy and reader are chaos junkies, you can't bring them anywhere, reader pronouns not specified
The way you and Luffy seemed to click together needed to be studied. None of the crew knows when the two of you first met, but the two of you acted like you'd known each other your whole lives. Whenever the two of you were together, there was always chaos. It was a lost cause whenever the crew was on an island and trying to keep a low profile. Either Luffy managed to piss off the locals or catch the attention of Marines, or you had been caught stealing food, or just general mischief.
You mirrored Luffy's energy and he mirrored yours. His strength pushed you to be stronger and vice versa. Feeding off each other multiplying it until something exploded, (sometimes literally.) The two of you gravitated around each other, like equally bright stars.
Even after the crew split up, you pushed yourself to train and get stronger and stronger, because you knew Luffy would be doing the same. When you read the news about Marineford, it was like you could feel Luffy's pain, even over the vast distance that separated the two of you. You cried for him, but you also stayed strong for him
When the crew was reunited on Sabaody, you stayed stuck to him, virtually unseparable. "Luffy!!!" You pinched his cheeks and stretched them, making the both of you laugh, ignoring the stampeding Marines closing in. They didn't matter, just you and Luffy.
He grabbed your hand, and didn't even need to warn you before the both of you were airborne, streaking across the sky before slamming into one of the mangroves. Your laughter could be heard across the entire archipelago.
You and Luffy were napping on the Thousand Sunny’s figurehead after eating your body weights in food. Sanji could be heard grumbling in the kitchen, but neither of you cared. Luffy had his arms wrapped around your waist, his head resting on yours. He was snoring, but you’d long gotten used to it.
Before this, you and Luffy had been chasing poor Chopper around the deck. The little reindeer had laughed and screamed. Usopp had been on his back, laughing unhelpfully.
The smell of food wafted across the deck, reaching you and Luffy. You didn't have to look at him to know that he was awake now. The two of you looked at each other, wearing matching mischievous expressions. Untangling from each other with ease, both of you sneaked into the kitchen, and without alerting Sanji, stole plates of food from the counter. The clatter of a dish alerted the cook, who turned around and saw the you both stealing the food. He shouted at your backs as you and Luffy ran from the kitchen, arms piled high with food. Luffy's cackles joined yours, and your face hurt from how hard you were smiling.
"Get back here!"
After successfully evading the enraged cook, you could now enjoy the bounty you'd collected. Luffy was stuffing his face, a pile of bones already beginning to form next to him. You hummed in pleasure as you shoved a rice ball into your mouth. Sanji's food was always tasty, and stolen food tasted even better.
"Sanji's gonna kill us, isn't he."
"Yup."
You looked at one another before bursting into laughter. The door to the closet slammed open, the wood creaking in protest. There Sanji stood, foot raised threateningly, and eyes ablaze. "You have three seconds before I throw the two of you into the sea."
You and Luffy looked at each other before dropping your food. "Scram!"
You streaked out of the room, leaving Luffy behind. It was every pirate for themselves now.
