How how the tables turn
→ BRETTSEY || Brett x Casey || CHICAGO FIRE || S05 (3) || “I need a change. Pink. I’ve always been a blonde, look where it’s gotten me. What do you think?”
I think Chopper deciding to go full Monster Point is the saddest thing that happens this chapter, with Robin trying to stop him? A panel later on will show that Robin heard what he did on Enies Lobby so she knows it's not good, and unlike that time Chopper himself hasn't really been targeted yet. He's seeing all the people he cares about fall one after another and decides becoming a rampaging beast is better than watching his family die. The idea of being a monster is such an emotionally fraught thing to him, so it's just another in a long list showing how bad the situation right now is.
The slightly scribbled look to Luffy's pupils goes a long way to show how utterly desperate he is
I love that Brook grabbed Zoro's swords
Brook is good
I hadn't noticed until this read-through that Kuma's bible has the same symbol on it as his shirt. I'd always seen the shirt design as a bullseye symbol, which fit with him yeeting people everywhere, but honestly now with it being a religious symbol I think it looks too much like Reverse Mountain to be a coincidence
