We don't know how long the War lasted start to finish nor how long it takes to sail to Marineford from Sabaody, but I think it says something that all the Supernovas were watching from the archipelago and then they all decided to hoof it to a war zone the minute the transmission was cut. That sort of go-getter attitude is probably why they were able to rise up as the cream of the crop amongst their generation of pirates
Get a two for one in the foreshadowing department with both Bonny and Law. It's interesting that Oda focuses on Law's sword without showing his face.

One of the things that I really appreciated from Fan Letter was its focus on normal guys like this. Overall I feel like Oda spends just enough time with the average, everyday combatants to get the "war is hell" message across. Sure, there are lots of awesome moments with amazing characters showing off their cool powers, but then there's these randos just getting massacred without any shred of humanity or mercy
I appreciate that the Moby Dick gets this moment. Bit by bit we see the symbols of Whitebeard's power breaking. This is just as much a home as Merry was, and its destruction just as tragic
All of the Supernovas (minus Zoro and Luffy, obviously) are shown to return to Sabaody to watch the war. Which is wild, given half of them were running from their lives after their trouble with Kizaru and the Kuma Bots. It's been almost a week, and they all stayed close enough to the archipelago to come back around for TV privileges. It goes to show just how huge this war is, but also gives insight into their personalities, because if the situations were reversed there's no way Luffy would have hung around just to watch
This is an interesting comment given what we learn during WCI. Bege enjoys being a destabilizing force for its own sake. Makes you wonder if he initially thought to infiltrate Whitebeard's crew before settling for Big Mom
