This is based of the idea that Sengoku acts distant to the second kid he took in, Drake, mabey do to the similarities he shares with Corazon and the fact he will never be him. Yet, Drake subconsciously trys to be like Cora to make Sengoku proud.

Supernovas, Death and Rebirth of Stars

We don't know how long the War lasted start to finish nor how long it takes to sail to Marineford from Sabaody, but I think it says something that all the Supernovas were watching from the archipelago and then they all decided to hoof it to a war zone the minute the transmission was cut. That sort of go-getter attitude is probably why they were able to rise up as the cream of the crop amongst their generation of pirates

Finally got around to designing pre-timeskip genderbends for my favourite Supernovas and the remaining two thirds of ASL !!

Law was pretty easy for me to design because we have canon confirmation that Fem Law would probably wear the exact same clothes as her male counterpart. I’m also a huge fan of the idea that Law’s childhood illness left vitiligo-like scars, so I obviously added those. I think the only hard part of her design for me was deciding whether to give her long hair or short hair. I eventually decided to give her long hair pre-timeskip, but short hair post-timeskip (like her canon design). Also, I think that Fem Cora would have had super long hair, so Law living for the sake of avenging Cora would also influence other aspects of how she presents herself, aside from her tattoos and such, including her hair length !! I like to think that she either cuts it off during Dressrosa, or Luffy cuts it off without even asking because she can see that it’s almost like shackles for Law (I hope that makes sense…). Law is my second favourite character in the entire series, sitting right under Sanji on the ranking list, so of course I had to yap my head off about Fem Law’s design lol !!

Kidd was a more difficult design for me to pin down, mostly because I couldn’t decide on a hairstyle, and also I kind of hate how it turned out. The sash, although kept from canon, looks super out of place, and my laziness came back to bite me in the ass when I chose not to keep her coat because I couldn’t be fucked drawing it. Overall, I think this might be my weakest design yet, but whateverrrrr, it’s fiiiiineeee, idgaf frrrr…

Then we have Bonney !! I LOVE how he turned out, super cute and exactly how I imagined his design before I started drawing it !! Side rant, but I really HATE how Bonney is dressed and drawn/animated in canon; it’s super gross now knowing that she’s only twelve years old and they’re drawing/animating her body like that and giving her all of these super tight, revealing clothes. So, I lengthened the clothes and made them a bit looser. Also, I fucking hate the hat she wears pre-timeskip in canon, so I chose to just give him a cute little beanie instead. I also decided to give him little, painted on, cheek circles instead of the lipstick his female counterpart has, because I think the lipstick would’ve just looked kinda silly on him lol. I know I forgot the cheek jewellery bro DON’T REMIND ME I’M SO FUCKING AWARE !!

Next is Ace !! My beautiful, doomed queen. I really like the Fem Ace designs that change basically nothing other than giving her tits and a bikini top and calling it a day LOL, so that’s essentially what I did !! Not much else to say about her design, other than that I really like it and it turned out surprisingly okay !!

Last, but CERTAINLY not least, we have Sabo !! I really like the concept of Fem Sabo wearing super classy, vintage/olden style outfits, so that’s exactly the outfit I gave her !! She is a gorgeous, elegant lady, but that doesn’t mean that she can’t or won’t kick ass, because she certainly CAN and WILL !! I gave her a super long, unruly ponytail, held up by a blue bandana, as a replacement for her hat because I felt as if the hat just wouldn’t fit the rest of the outfit. I also drew her scar much gnarlier than it is in canon, and I imagine that she has burn scars all down that side of her body, and that her eye on that side no longer functions (hence the way I drew it). I think maybe she used to cover her facial scar up with her hair, but after Ace’s death and the return of her memories, she decided to clip that hair piece back and show off the scar with pride, because although Ace did not live despite the circumstances, Sabo did, and she is proud of the scars that show off the fact that she lived to carry her sister’s legacy with pride !! I also changed the colour of her gloves because I think the original colour is kinda ugly lol.

Okay, yap sesh over !! I think next I’m going to have a crack at designing my chosen Supernovas post-timeskip. I won’t be able to design Ace post-timeskip or Sabo pre-timeskip for obvious reasons, but perhaps I could do some more genderbends for other side characters? You’ll just have to wait and see, I guess !!
