eric sits with his knees curled to his chest on the couch beside chaewon, his attention split between the cartoon playing on his laptop on the coffee table and the conversation they’re having, as he can’t simply sit and watch a tv show without doing something else at the same time. he’s mindlessly chewing on gummy candy, head leant against the back of the couch. the conversation, somehow, had shifted to kisses, and what kissing is like, and when they had their first kisses. 

“i’ve... never kissed anyone.” eric admits, his cheeks reddening slightly. sure, it’s not something really to be embarrassed about (even if some people would say it very much is at his big age), but he can’t help but be a little shy about it. he’s nineteen (nearly twenty, he’d say) and yet he’s never even had his first kiss. most people have at least had their first kiss before they’ve graduated high school, and here eric having absolutely zero experience in anything romantic. 

it’s not like he never wanted to kiss anyone, or sought out the opportunity, he’d just, somehow, never managed to be in the right situation to kiss someone, or be kissed himself. no one has ever had a crush on him, to his knowledge at least, and everyone he’d ever had a crush on was far out of his league, so kissing them was very much out of the question. 

“not that i haven’t wanted to, obviously. i just... don’t think anyone has ever liked me enough to want to kiss me.”

kyungwon doesn’t really know what it means to be attending a corporate meeting under the guise of “speaker of the industry.” what industry were these business folks referring to? the creative industry? language and literature? what industry were they expecting her to speak on? she massages her temples and flips through the magazine she fished from the tabletop, trying to distract herself. it doesn’t help that the meeting is taking place in a fine dining restaurant.

“chaewon, you don’t have to make it super strong. soft glam should be fine, but i do want to look professional today.” peeking at her reflection in the mirror, she pushes a strand of hair behind her ear. even if she somehow messes things up, it’s on the senior who invited her, not her. “do you have water by the way? my throat is kind of dry.” she wasn’t exactly nervous, she’s been to events bigger and more extravagant than this. she just dislikes how little she knew about what they want out of her.

chaewon wasn’t sure if asking for yuzu’s new address was allowed, or if she could even really come over – so she sent her birthday present to the sphere building.

inside the pink wrapping paper was a carefully folded set of animal crossing bed clothes. within that, was a polaroid picture of chaewon and yuzu, taken back when they were both still in 6tunes. yuzu behind the drums, and chaewon standing next to her, holding up a peace sign. at the bottom of the photo, it reads, in chaewon’s neat handwriting: thank you. that’s all her birthday message says. chaewon’s never been much of one for words, anyways.

in a way it sucked that she wasn’t sure if she could even go out and properly celebrate her birthday now that she had been revealed as an official member. meeting her old friends and gathering them up for a few drinks seemed like something she’d taken for granted unfortunately. 

but she also hadn’t expect any of them to go out of their way like chaewon did. 

she hadn’t expected to receive any presents the moment she stepped foot into the sphere building but with one of the staff members approaching her with a large bag of gifts, she couldn’t help but let her eyes widen. the largest one she noticed was one wrapped in pink paper and already left her with an eerie feeling of familiarity. it wasn’t until she had the whole gift unwrapped that she found herself with a nostalgic smile on her lips. the moment she had the chance, she reached for her phone, placed the polaroid inside her transparent case and typed up a message.

yeonjun’s used to going to the magazine section in grocery stores. he doesn’t buy anything there like he used to do often, but he does go there to check what was going on in the pop industry. sometimes he’ll find news about friends who’ve debuted or even idols who he’s become a fan of and he takes a few minutes to read through about them whilst in the section. it’s what makes his shopping experience a little more longer (like the way he likes) as well as more entertaining. 

so he goes to that section of the store when he visits again and picks one up, going through the pages like he would and sighing as the magazines he come across don’t have mentions of a group he’s interested in. he doesn’t notice the presence of another person there until he sets the magazine down back to where it was before. however, the quick glimpse he gets of this person makes him have to do a double-take because he feels as if he’s seen this girl before. 

so curious, he calls out to her. “hey, excuse me,” he starts off. there’s a small smile and he tilts his head to the side. “are you a celebrity by any chance? i feel like i’ve seen you before.”

「 silk ties 」

One minute she was hanging upside down in silk sheets. The next she was laying on the floor surrounded by said sheets while her right leg remained dangling above her caught between the remaining fabric. Blinking pitifully at the ceiling, Olivia realizes that all this occurred in slow motion. From when she let one leg fall to the floor while slowly twisting herself until she was only kneeling in one knee than finally with a final turn she ended up in her current position. 

With a dramatic sigh, she waves off the concern drawn to her by the instructor. There was no point further embarrassing herself than she already has. Who knew ‘Aireal Silk’ could be so dangerous. She frowns as she felt the straining pain on her ankle as she tried to twist her foot away, so with a defeated pout she turns towards the girl she was next to. “Urm... excuse me, do you mind?” Smiling up at her sheepishly, Olivia hoped to Kami that this girl would not abandon her in her time of needs.
