Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk. 1 ripe banana. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 1/2 tsp ground ginger. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground cloves. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 chai tea bag. 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional. Ice cubes.
Instructions: Heat the almond milk until hot but not boiling. Steep the chai tea bag in the hot almond milk for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag. In a blender, combine the chai-infused almond milk, ripe banana, rolled oats, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, adding honey or maple syrup if desired for sweetness. Add ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie is cold and creamy.
