First round of rings for my big chainmaille project arrived!
I'll be making a chainmaille skirt and matching top for my Eurydice cosplay. This'll be my most complex project undertaking, but I'm excited. The last time I made a skirt from chain was back in 2019 with my Niamh set (pics/video below).
If I look awkward it's because I am, lol.
240ft of brass chain and 690 white shell beads went into the making of this. I was, and still am, incredibly proud of it! I've been dying to create another set, only with actual chain weaving, so I'm using Eurydice as my muse. I'll be logging my progress here over the next few months. Am hoping to have it completed by October. *fingers crossed*
