Armisael: They get sad when they fight.

How Good Are The Angels at Giving Hugs?

Sachiel: He would probably be very timid and reluctant if he were asked to give you a hug. It would probably be very nervous and awkward, but at least he’ll be happy. 5/10

Shamshel: This is already making a very unlikely assumption that she would be interested in hugs. If she is, she would hold you very, very tightly. You may be unable to breathe until she lets go. But you wouldn’t have to wait long, since she generally dislikes bodily contact. 4/10

Ramiel: Although she would be very enthusiastic at the idea of hugging someone, she is not very good at it. The fact that she may electrocute you out of excitement probably won’t help. 2/10

Gaghiel: If he agrees to hug you, then you will be squeezed tightly, but not enough to make you pass out. You will probably end up smelling like salt water and fish, though. 6/10

Israfel Rin and Len: These two are grouped together because they would probably hug you at the same time. They are about as good as an average person. 7/10 individually, 9/10 together

Sandalphon: Because of how short he is, he probably wouldn’t be able to give hugs that are as comfortable as other angels on the list. That is unless you kneel down. On the plus side, they are always warm. 6.5/10

Matarael: Unlike his original form, hugging Matarael in his human form has no risk of you being melted by acid. That’s about it, he’s pretty average. 7/10

Sahaquiel: She would love the opportunity to hug a cute little human. And her hugs are a good balance between tight and gentle. 9/10

Ireul: They don’t like to hug. If he does hug you, it will only last for a second and you will barely touch. 1/10

Leliel: He gives amazing hugs. He is strong enough to lift you, but not so much to crush you. His new friend shape also makes him very soft. 9/10

Bardiel: She would pick you up, spin you around, and pull you into a soft yet firm hold. When it’s over, she may compliment you. 10/10

Zeruel: She will probably end up fracturing some of your bones. Not worth the risk. 0/10

Chakel: While she may not look the part, she would happily give a hug when asked. While it wouldn’t last long, it would be one of the best you’ll ever have. 8/10

Arael: Very firm, gentle and warm. He will also whisper encouragement to you. Additionally, because of his empathic abilities, he will know when someone is sad and will offer them a hug. 10/10

Armisael: The perfect balance of softness and firmness, always the perfect temperature, and she will reassure you and say that you will be alright. 12/10

Started making bios for the humanized angels just for fun.

A short while after entering the Evangelion fandom, I had an idea. And I answered it.

I basically came up for an idea of a post-EoE scenario where the angels reform, but have absorbed some amount of human knowledge. As such, they realized that they are not too different from people. So they decide to help rebuild the world to make it more… habitable. And in the process, they decide to take on human forms.

I also included the Diemay angel because I love its design.
