task #01: questionnaire
personal information:
full name: blaine devon anderson date of birth: april 5th hometown: westerville, ohio sexuality: homosexual parents’ names: james and pam anderson siblings’ names: cooper anderson occupation: broadway actor smoke/drink/drugs: no, occasionally, no tattoos: none piercings: none
resort information:
1. How long have you been working/attending the resort?
This is my first time back in six years, but I used to spend almost every winter here for the first 18 years of my life.
2. What is it about the resort that intrigued you to vacation/work here?
Well, take a look around. The resort and its surroundings are absolutely gorgeous, and I just have so many good memories of this place. I was looking for a change of scenery, and the resort was the first place that came to mind. My parents were the one who originally decided to come here, though, as I was just a kid back then.
3. What have you enjoyed the most since arriving here?
I’ve only been here for a few days, so I can’t say I’ve got much to tell you just yet, but what I’ve really enjoyed so far is how friendly and relaxed everyone seems to be. People actually take the time to say hi and smile at you, maybe even have a little chat, which is so different from New York where everyone’s always in a hurry. I already feel more relaxed than I did before I got here.
4. What have you enjoyed the least since arriving here?
I haven’t had a single unpleasant experience here so far.
5. What are you looking forward to doing during your stay?
The whole Snowmass experience, really! I’m excited to explore Aspen again, to get back on my skis and board (although I really need some lessons before I try the latter...), go ice skating, to just sit on the porch and relax while I enjoy the view... I’m also really excited to be reunited with Sugar, and I can’t wait to spend some time with her.
6. Are there any people that you have become friendly with?
Sugar and I go way back, but apart from her, not really anyone in particular yet. I’ve had the chance to talk to a few of the staff members, though, who were all incredibly friendly so far.
7. Are there any people that you have grown to dislike?
None so far! And I hope it will stay that way.
8. What is the best activity that the resort offers?
The first thing that comes to mind right now is getting a massage, but that’s just my body telling me I really need one after doing 8 shows a week. Apart from the obvious activities, I’d say the Coaster is a lot of fun. Especially when you can ride it at night during Ullr Nights celebrations.
9. Is there anything you’d like to add/remove or change about the resort?
I can’t really think of anything right now.
10. What are you hoping to achieve during your time/stay at the resort?
I hope I can clear my head a little and just relax, and maybe make some new friends.
task #001: questionnaire
Personal Information:
Full name: Tina Cohen-Chang
Date of birth: April 20th, 1994
Hometown: Aurora, Colorado
Sexuality: Pansexual
Parents’ names: Evie Cohen & David Alan Chang
Siblings’ names: No siblings
Occupation: Freelance journalist / guest booking liaison
Smoke/drink/drugs: No, casual and party drinker, no
Tattoos: None, but considering to get a small one on the back of right shoulder
Piercings: Two ear piercings on each ear
Resort Information:
How long have you been working/attending the resort? This is my third year working here, and it gets better every year.
What is it about the resort that intrigued you to vacation/work here? I needed a change and a challenge, and the resort had that laid out for me. I also needed to fill my time as I was struggling to find work around the time I applied.
What have you enjoyed the most since arriving here? Taking in this new environment! My parents were never a winter resort type of people, so I never got to see much of the mountains or a proper full-fledged winter wonderland.
What have you enjoyed the least since arriving here? It doesn’t happen every day, but there are some days where nothing is going right and the people you’re talking to just are straight up assholes, especially around Christmas and New Year’s. And while this seems redundant and stupid to say, it does get pretty cold, which I do not enjoy that much.
What are you looking forward to doing during your stay? I’m just excited to see everyone that I got to know the previous years of being here - I’ve truly made some lifelong friends here. I also hope to explore more of Aspen on my free time now that I’m more comfortable with the area.
Are there any people that you have become friendly with? For sure. I consider both Finn and Marley good friends. I’m spending more time with Sugar which is both nice and funny, considering we didn’t hit it off at first. There are also a few people who are new here who I think are pretty lovely as well.
Are there any people that you have grown to dislike? If you asked me during my first year, I’d say Sugar, but luckily that took a turn for the better.
What is the best activity that the resort offers? Tubing is underrated and so much fun. Definitely recommend.
Is there anything you’d like to add/remove or change about the resort? I’d love to see more variations when it comes to dining options, but no complaints here.
What are you hoping to achieve during your time/stay at the resort? I do want to contribute to making the place memorable for the guests and even my colleagues. It warms my heart when guests thank me for my hospitality--which is my job anyway--but it means a lot when people are visibly happy and make the effort to tell me that. Other than that, I hope to learn more about the area so I can be an even better guide when guests approach me for tips and suggestions.
Since it is the start of a new season here at the resort, we have created a questionnaire so that everyone has a chance to get to know each other better. The questionnaire is private and won’t be displayed to the general public but it will allow players an opportunity to gain inside access into the lives of other characters.
