Challenge 110: Crisp: Shirt and Suit
Seized the opportunity to draw some fan art of one of my fav web comics, Lore Olympus!
Because of some tech/ and health issues this past week I wasn’t able to get the rendering exactly where I wanted it in time so I switched it up and settled on a crisp blue pallet (that works both with our theme and the look of the comic itself).
With some luck I’ll get it looking how I want it soon and I’ll post a new version on my page 💙

I had so much fun with this one, as fall leaves and cardinals are so my favorites. The crunchy munch noise under your feet with the high pitched whistle of wooing bird friends just make me feel the season ya know?

Challenge 110: Crisp: Fall Leaves
One of my favorite things about fall is the crisp leaves that are all around! I was so lucky to grow up in the midwest where I was surrounded by gorgeous changing leaves and crisp fall air every year. I chose to illustrate some of my favorite types of fall foliage in a more traditional botanical layout.

Challenge 110: Crisp: Autumn Things! Just some adorable/doofy/possibly evil kitties for your mid-October day! I knew I had to take this opportunity to do something about fall because it’s my favorite season. And now I’m going to list all of the reasons I love autumn, because why not? --My birthday starts the season off right (even if it’s still warm here in Texas) Any other Libras out there feel me? :P --Black cats. Duh --Orange, sienna, mustard, gold, rust, and emerald green: one of the best color palettes possible --Pumpkins and gourds are the maybe the cutest things that grow on vines ever --Leaves and fall foliage feel so happy/nostalgic --Halloween! Mysteries/creepy things, costumes, and all of the symbols of the holiday are my fave: ghosties, batties, kitties, punkies, skellies, spideys, witchies and CANDY OF COURSE --Cozy food and drinks, like pie and hot tea --SWEATERS are my favorite clothes. I’m all about the soft, and the fun wacky patterns --Crisp, cool air (and rain, finally, here in Texas) --Back in the day, the beginning of a school year was always such an exciting fresh start --Cozy socks and blankets and every excuse to just curl up with a book all day That’s all I can think of for now, but I guarantee there’s more reasons that I’m later going to wish I’d thought of.
